One thing I do is set my phone to DND mode between certain hours so I can focus on the task at hand!

Even a positive conversation with a recruiter, a completed application, or a new connection counts. Track things like connections made with relevant recruiters, responses from hiring managers, and insights gained about the market. Each win is proof you're moving forward. It keeps momentum alive and reminds you that progress is happening, even if it's slower than you hoped.
4. Take Breaks Without Guilt
A short walk, a workout, or a couple of hours with your family is so important for your mental energy. Your brain needs space to process information, strategize, and approach interviews with clarity. When you're burned out, productivity doesn't improve. Breaks are part of the strategy, not a perk. A digital detox is a game changer.

When a search takes over, it's easy to skip meals, neglect sleep, or stop exercising. That's a trap. Mental health is connected to physical health. You can't be at your best in interviews or negotiations if you're running on fumes. Treat your well-being as part of the role you're applying for. A clear mind equals clear strategy.
